Fpsc merit calculation formula?

A.A members!
Could anybody tell about the merit calculation formula/criteria of fpsc BS 17 posts?
I've applied for the deputy headmaster post and I noticed in fpsc guidelines for general recruitment that final merit will be calculated only on the basis of test and interview.

If that so then they won't count academic marks, is it true?

I would appreciate your help.
