Jazzi bro and other informed members is this really an authentic news of new recruitment of DSPs.I had heard that PSP is against this and it had also agreed the CS Punjab and CM not to initate the process of hiring DSPs..If there is some new summary of this hiring,please let us know at what stage it is lying now.

yar hawa ki na chora kro... as 4 as to Police Order amendments are concerned ... let me tell u keh only constables...sub inspectors & ASP will be recruited openly.... DSP cadre main bharti nhi ho sakti jnb..... have any doubt ???then u can see Police Order2013 on PUNJAB LAW PORTAL....

I don't see the word DSP in thiis clause and ASPs through FPSC as usual.

Amendments in Article 7 of Order No. 22 of 2002.– In the Police Order
2002 (C.E. Order No. 22 of 2002), hereinafter referred to as the said Order, in Article
7:
(a) for clause (3), the following shall be substituted:
“(3) The recruitment in the police other than ministerial
and specialist cadres shall be in the rank of Constable, SubInspector and Assistant Superintendent of Police.”;
